EVH Wolfgang USA Ivory Ebony Fingerboard (Made in USA) 3.73kg S N WG17780A
Description
Extremely Rare! USA-Made Wolfgang in the Popular IVORY Color - Available Now!
This Wolfgang embodies over 35 years of EVH's accumulated experience and guitar design expertise.
The process of developing the Wolfgang required over two years of research. This guitar embodies the results of a series of prototypes that withstood Eddie's rigorous in-concert road testing during Van Halen's highly successful 2007-2008 world tour.
As the VH tour kicked off in the fall of 2007, Eddie played various Wolfgang prototypes every night for virtually every song, scrutinizing every aspect of the Wolfgang's performance capabilities and pushing it to its limits.
As the tour progressed, Eddie meticulously adjusted the specifications, refining the sound, feel, and looks until he was completely satisfied. Performance data was collected from every gig over several months to establish its superior combat capabilities in any situation and to ensure consistency and durability.
This is the Wolfgang, the culmination of Eddie Van Halen's relentless pursuit of exceptional tone, durability, and consistency.
The EVH Wolfgang guitar, released to the public in January 2009, is built on his meticulous specifications and is identical in every aspect to the Wolfgang guitar he plays on stage and in the studio.
It is literally the guitar he uses. "Everything I've built, destroyed, stumbled, learned, and experienced is in this guitar," says Eddie Van Halen. From stainless steel frets, double-pot custom-wound pickups, 5-piece binding on the body and headstock, custom-made signature tuning machines and a FloydRose bridge, to new low-friction pots, every aspect and component of this guitar has been meticulously selected and upgraded to the highest possible standard. We did it without compromise.
