I bought new ear pads and then never used these.  The top pad isn't shiny anymore but still cushioned.  The headphones used to be able to fold in for DJ or live recording, and compact for storage and travel, but it seems a little stiff and I didn't want to break them.  They probably do still but I want to be clear that I didn't want to push it.

Comes with the desired screw-on, gold phono jack.  These are used and older, but will provide you with the same beautiful feedback they were designed to.  Really great headphones.
