This Chile pattern is said to be an uncommon find among Vintage collectors. The Chile line was inspired by South American culture. The design is rich copper “picture frame” links, each inlayed with trapezoid shaped panels of aqua or turquoise blue enamel.

This piece is signed Matisse which was the enameled copper line of the famous Renoir of California brand. Renoir & Matisse were at their peak in the 1950’s, known for combining artisan-style metalwork with machine production to create high quality modernist jewelry.
