This is a very nice early blown cranberry glass pickle jar/castor.  It is about 6" tall to the top of the lid.  The lid has a clear glass finial/knop that is shaped kind of like a flickering flame.  It is 3.25" diameter at the base.  Feel free to ask any questions you may have. 

   It does have a couple of small chips on the inner rim of the cover. .
