Introducing a 1997 Les Paul Classic!
Les Paul Classics from the 1990s are highly regarded for their meticulous details and use of superior materials, setting them apart from more recent models.
The slim C-shaped neck, reminiscent of the 1960s, is perfect for fast phrases and technical playing. While maintaining a traditional look, it also boasts modern playability.
Equipped with 490R and 500T pickups!
It features the thick, warm sound characteristic of Gibson Les Pauls, with a solid attack and excellent clarity. Clean tones are rich and vibrant, while distorted tones deliver a robust and impactful rock sound.
The classic maple top and mahogany back construction produces a heavy, core sound. Clean tones offer a rich, deep resonance, while overdrive delivers a powerful, clear rock tone that cuts through the mix, ensuring it stands out in a band ensemble. It exudes an overwhelming aura on stage.
Combined with its aged appearance and character, this Les Paul model exudes an overwhelming presence, combining vintage appeal with practicality, making it a highly refined instrument that can be cherished for years to come.
This particular instrument has had its bridge replaced from a Nashville to an ABR-1.
Removing the tuners reveals traces of previously installed Grover tuners.
Also, only the headstock has been refinished (aged), and the Les Paul silkscreen is gone.
The internal wiring has been replaced with 50s-style wiring, Orange Drop pickups, and CTS amps. The jack plate has also been replaced with a metal one.
The pickguard is a regular model without the "1960" marking.
