Vintage Circle of Friends Sculpture Candle Holder Aztec Mexico Folk Art Clay Pottery

This primitive "Circle of Friends" hand carved terra cotta clay sculpture candle holder symbolized the bonds of friendship.

Made in Mexico, its rustic pre-Colombian design has its roots in the custom of gathering around a fire to celebrate peace and brotherhood. 

Measures approx. 5 1/2" W x 4 1/2" H.
