Introduction

OMICRON® Membrane Filter Funnel with In-built Clamp is meant for vacuum filtration. Vacuum filtration is widely done in laboratory such as microorganism test in food, pharmaceuticals, beverage, drinking water industries and various R&D laboratories such as HPLC, GC, analytical applications etc.

    Product Description

OMICRON® Membrane Filter Funnel with In-built Clamp is designed to clarify/sterilize liquids by pressure filtration through a 47mm/50 mm diameter filter. The Stainless Steel Filter Funnel maximizes flow rates by applying positive pressure to the fluid over a broad membrane surface. These membrane filter funnel are made of corrosion-resistant type SS 316 that provide broad chemical resistance. It is available with a funnel capacity of 300ml supplied with SS 316 lid & neoprene cork. The In-built Clamp ensures leak proof filtration and the samples do not bypass the membrane and particulates are retained on the surface of the membrane. The funnel is autoclavable and supplied non-sterile.

    Typical Applications

OMICRON® Membrane Filter Funnel with In-built Clamp provides large filtration area, widely compatible and has unique design for high flow rate. The funnel is ideal for processing larger samples without the "pour and wait" of smaller funnels.

    • General laboratory microfiltration
    • Quality control and sterility testing
    • Removal of particulates from HPLC solvents
    • Pharmaceutical sterilization applications
    • Filtration of cell culture media, vitamins, and antibiotics
