Miniature 19th Century Gouache on Mica Painting 

Madonna of the Harpies After Andrea Del Sarto

The piece is in excellent original condition, in the original frame with beveled glass, 

it is very nice. This miniature piece measures approximately 3-1/2" (8.89cm) x 2-3/4" (6.98cm). Although not by the original 15th century artist Del Sarto, this piece does carry a signature in the mica which is shown in the photos. I was unable to find any information as the signature is difficult to decipher.
