This is an EMPTY 1970 Topps baseball cards display box that was used to sell wax ten-packs of cards at point of sale. I am the original (1970) purchaser. The die cut top folds up and back to form a back display. The photos show the box in both open and closed positions.

Box series 1-403-37-02-0 (from bottom panel).

Unlike another variant, this box does not have the 1970 date on the top of the box, nor the Denny McLain or Pete Rose photo on the front side.

See the photos for condition details. Note that it does have a tear, wear, and some creases. The top is torn at the right fold used to form the back display panel (to the right of the batter's head) but the cardboard can be repaired with tape from behind if desired. The corresponding fold on the left is also partially torn through, and can be similarly repaired. The left part of the front flap (ordinarily hidden has a repairable tear as well. Other creases or wrinkles can be seen on three of the four top corners. A crease is also visible on the right side panel's top left corner area. There is some fraying at the three large perforations where the top meets the back, and the four corners of the bottom panel show a little wear.

Because I cannot accept returns, please review the description and photos carefully to be sure you're comfortable with your purchasing decision. I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have before purchase.
