Vintage Parts Sealed Tamiya #35232 1/35 Scale Centaur C.S.Mk.IV British Cruiser Tank, produced by Tamiya with their New Parts Tooling in 1999, with the excellent Aber #35092 Photo-Etch Upgrade Set for this kit. This highly detailed modern tooling features a detailed suspension, wheels, and tracks, detailed turret and main gun, detailed external accessories, 2 crew figures (Commander and Loader), and markings for 2 tanks.

With this lot, you get both of the following:
  1. Tamiya 35232 1/35 Scale Centaur C.S.Mk.IV British Cruiser Tank - factory sealed parts.
  2. Aber 35092 1/35 Scale Photo-Etched Upgrade Set for this kit - factory sealed.
This kit includes decals for 2 tanks:
  1. British Centaur IV "Vidette" with 5th Independent Battery, Royal Marines Armoured Support Group, at Normandy, France, in June 1944.
  2. British Centaur IV "Hunter" with H Troop, 2nd Battery, 1st Armoured Support Regiment, Royal Marines Armoured Support Group at Normandy, France, in June 1944.
The Centaur IV was armed with a 95mm howitzer with 51 rounds of ammunition. This is the only version of the Centaur tank that saw combat during World War II, and it was only in service with the Royal Marines Armoured Support Group. The vehicles were fitted with wading gear to get them ashore during the Normandy Invasion in June 1944. 114 of these tanks were produced during the war.
