Here I am selling some Vintage Ray Ban aviators with gold frames and photochromic changeable blue/ Grey lenses from my vintage collection.
The gold plated frames are used condition and stamped RAY BAN B&L USA 62[]14 please note gold frames are loosing their colour in some places as shown in pictures.
Both changeable blue/ Grey lenses are in used condition. left lens is in pretty much good condition and right had some scratches which i tried to show in photos. these lenses react automatically to brightness and lenses get dark outdoors. please note these are older series and lenses not etched BL.

Original Ray Ban Company was generated in 1937 by Mr Bausch and Mr Lomb they used to Produce the world’s finest sunglasses. Bausch & Lomb have managed to capture the world’s market, they used to supply American air force with Ray Bans as part of their uniforms. They have continued their business until 1999 that’s when the company was sold to an Italian company which still trading with the same name (Ray Ban Luxotica) but quality of their sunglasses is nowhere near the older Bausch&Lomb made sunglasses.
Bausch&Lomb used to make their sunglasses to last you life time hence they didn’t have the two years warranty because they knew their products will last and insure your eyes Lifetime.
Vintage Bausch and Lomb Ray Bans are far greater quality than their modern equivalent.
From 1937 to 1999 Ray Bans were made by an optics company called Bausch and Lomb in USA and France, hence the 'BL' engraving on vintage lenses. The 'Ray Ban' logo printed on the lens only appeared on later models from the 80's onwards, earlier examples with no lens logo printed are still genuine
From 1999 to present day Ray Bans have been made by a company called Luxottica in Italy, lenses inscribed with 'RB'
