A collection of five various Bentley Key Fobs and remotes. Selling as a package, untested, condition unknown. Two have uncut blanks, ready for your locksmith.

You probably and hopefully know more than I do about these. Here is what an internationally known expert told me:

Salient sentence - "Crewe is out of these so that key as/is - is worth at least $500 to the right owner.  You will need a new transponder chip and the computer to code it."

Full conversation:

"Hi George,

The first one looks like a GT key,  the bronze looking one is for an early GT – these are basically worthless, flip the keys over and look at the back, if the key has a trunk release button it’s probably GT or later- all you can use these for is to rob the plastic case or the loop on the end of the key- you can swap these parts over to another car- the actual key can’t be reprogrammed to work on a different GT - look when you flip the key out- it the cuts are on the side of the key then its GT

  - your 3rd picture down is GT- the Arnage cut is more like a house key along the top edge. That green 2 button one looks like an Arnage key  “ about 6 pictures down”  and yes that key can be reprogrammed over to work with the alarm system door locks in the later Arnage cars after 2002 – Arnage R & T 2003-2011 – of course if the key has already been cut then you are kind of stuck but the thing can be made to work with the factory alarm system- you have to have the factory legacy scan tool- also you will need to do something with the onboard transponder because the keys works with both the alarm and the immobilizer-

Crewe is out of these so that key as/is - is worth at least $500 to the right owner.  You will need a new transponder chip and the computer to code it.

Sometimes on the gt keys the rubber gets worn so people want a better case- if you want to sell those gt keys on line as parts keys they are probably worth $30 each –

I have old ones here that I actually rob parts off of and just give these parts to customers- when their key looks like a dog has been chewing on it.

You can find the gt keys from china on line but most of the time you can’t make them work- I have some special transponder chips and special non – Crewe software – I have played around with this stuff - It’s all a pain in the neck and basically a waste of time –  the car owners all get pissed off because everything is too expensive- I try to stay away from working on the Arange. Heck   fixing an Arnage alarm and making a few keys often ends up costing over 10 grand- so many of the parts are NLA or super expensive.  All the newer cars are just 8 to 12 year throw away cars- we used to total cars when the engine went bad- now the owners are so cheap you can basically total the car with a brake job –All the high end brands have turned into a total joke – people can buy the cars too cheap- they expect since the car is cheap to buy it must be cheap to fix! "

So, I will sell the whole lot as is, all five of them

but no guarantees. I hope my expert is right that at least one is worth at least $500 but I don't want to spend a year waiting for that sale so will just sell the whole lot now, all five for $299.  As you can see, two have uncut blanks - ready for your locksmith.  Thank you!
