About the location...

I'm actually from West Palm Beach, grew up and lived there for over 30 years. The Clewiston Inn, known as "Jeffersons's Inn," was built in 1938 in Clewiston, Florida, by the United States Sugar Corporation to host executives and dignitaries. Located on Royal Palm Avenue, it is a Neo-classical Revival structure that replaced the original 1926 inn, which burned down in 1937. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
