A fine antique cameo brooch.

In 18k gold.

With a cameo carved agate medallion of a beautiful young woman with headband, earrings, and pearl (or beaded) necklace.

Prong-set in a wide circular setting with applied rope cables around its circumference.

Simply a wonderful Victorian brooch!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. 

Condition Details:
Lacking the tips of several prongs in the setting and with a tiny flake to the lady's neck. The pin (a lower carat replacement) is replace in the hinge. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine and light surface scratches, and other signs of light wear consistent with age.

Fineness:
Unmarked. Professionally tests at 18k.
