ITEM'S DESCRIPTION:

Steering wheel removed from a 2008 Volkswagen GTI. Will fit most MK5 models such as Rabbit, Golf and Jetta 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009.

Comes from an manual transmission vehicle. It doesn't have the paddles for a DSG transmission. 

If you are unsure about fitment, send me a picture of your old steering wheel and I'll tell you if it fits or not.

Considering that it's almost 18 YEARS OLD, it has some use and rubbing on the leather. The leather on the steering is not physically damaged or torn. Just a lot of discoloration from use. You can use it as a base for getting it recovered.

I don't try to hide any damage on it, I don't apply Armor All or any other products on it to make it look better and mask the true nature of the part. I just cleaned it with warm soapy water and a microfiber cloth. This does bring out the imperfections. 

It can be restored with the right products, such as fabric dye, leather shoe polish, different leather conditioners etc. Or you can simply recover it. Or use it as is. 

Please look at the high resolution pictures and determine if it fits your quality standards. All electronic components were working when it was removed from the vehicle but come as-is and without warranty.
