The Raritan MCD-LED17116 MasterConsole Digital LED is a 17” LED console drawer with integrated Cat5 KVM switch combination, purpose-built for small to midsized business data centers. This all-in-one 1U rackmount unit puts 16 KVM ports and a full 17.3” FHD 1920x1080 LCD display, 104-key keyboard, and touchpad into a single space-saving drawer — taking up to 85% less space than a separate keyboard, monitor, and mouse setup. The next-generation Cat5 interface supports both analog (VGA) and digital (DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort) video at resolutions up to 1920x1080, with stereo audio available via Raritan’s MDCIM-HDMI or MDUTP VGA combo cables. Using standard Cat5e/6/6e cabling with Raritan’s MDCIM Computer Interface Modules, you can connect and control servers at distances up to 150 feet. The MCD-LED17116 can also be cascaded two levels to manage up to 512 servers from a single point of access. MDCIM “keep-alive” technology allows hot-swapping of server cables without interrupting live servers. Plug-and-play installation, intuitive on-screen display, AutoScan, AutoSkip, and password-protected access for 1 administrator and up to 127 users make this an ideal solution for server room management, maintenance, and administration.
