We did test for compression but could not get a reading from this saw.  The piston looks good, there are maybe a few small scores, but nothing that would result in complete compression loss.  We think the compression valve may be bad but there could be other problems.  Obviously it is missing numerous parts including, but not limited to the air filter and cover, spark plug and cover, blade shield assembly, and handle.  We have not, nor will we do, any further testing.
