Beautiful rare antique Victorian porcelain milk jug for serving milk at the table or on service tray for room service, Biltmore Hotel.
Holds 16 fluid ounces (2 cups)
Bottom marked “Biltmore” and numbered 1010 1/2 in gold
The pitcher is a soft eggshell white and painted with a dainty blue/green leaves and stems with pinkish flowers around the outside.
Lovely sculptured handle and a raised feathered design around the top, arched curved ribbed pattern around the bottom section (see photos)
See last two photos for close ups… There is a hairline crack visible on the top area where you pour from (circled in red) and a couple of crazing areas (circled in green). Other than these “flaws” there are no chips, cracks, or repairs. See photos, zoom in, as they describe the item best.
