-Gibson USA Original Collection Les Paul Standard '60s-

A model packed with specifications for players seeking a modern sound has arrived in the hugely popular Les Paul Standard '60s!!
The basic specifications are a modern reinterpretation of the mid-'60s Les Paul, characterized by a sound that balances lightness and power.

The beautiful figured maple top and gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish give it a striking presence on stage.
Body
A solid mahogany back with no weight relief is capped with a bookmatched maple top.
Due to the figured construction, selected "AA Figured Top" is used for the body top.
The gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, which allows the wood grain to show through, gives it a beautiful and vintage feel.
In terms of sound, the warmth and sustain of the mahogany are combined with the clear attack and brightness of the maple top,
creating a tone perfect for modern rock and blues.
Neck
Features a mahogany neck shaped with a '60s SlimTaper profile. Unlike the thicker feel of the '50s,
it's slightly thinner and easier to grip, making it comfortable for fast phrasing and chord work.
The fingerboard is made of rosewood. Featuring a 12-inch radius, acrylic inlays, and 22 medium jumbo frets, this guitar achieves both smoothness and accurate intonation.
Pickups:
Both the neck and bridge pickups are 60s Burstbuckers. By changing the magnet type and coil winding count, the sound balance is enhanced with a wider range and more power than a standard Burstbucker.
The open, clear tone and punchy midrange when distorted are appealing, and it handles modern amplifiers well.
The classic look with nickel covers remains unchanged.
Hardware:
The ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminum stop tailpiece faithfully reproduce the classic style, and it features Grover Rotomatic kidney tuners and gold top hat knobs.
It perfectly recreates the look used by artists from the 1960s onward. The Original Collection series, launched in 2019, boasts exceptionally high quality compared to previous regular models, and its superb craftsmanship is sure to satisfy even the most seasoned Gibson fans.
Even those who can't afford a Custom Shop guitar can fully enjoy the Gibson sound, so we encourage you to try out a real instrument at our store. Weight: 4.40kg
