D-45 Modern Deluxe, 2024 model, used

The Modern Deluxe is the pinnacle of the regular production D-45 series.

It achieves a coexistence of excellent vintage sound and the high playability of a current model.

The main upgrades from the standard D-45 include:

VTS Sitka spruce top

Flame maple binding

Wood fiber maple trim and decorative wrapping inside the binding

Ebony headplate

Asymmetrical, thinner neck shape

Carbon bridge plate

Waverly gold tuners

Torch inlays with borders

Snowflake inlays with borders

Liquid metal pins, gold

While specifying these features as a custom order would be extremely expensive,

this is a custom package from Martin, and it offers excellent performance.

This is a one-owner instrument purchased in 2024.

At the time of purchase, it was selected from five of the same model.

The top and back have a beautiful, even grain. The jet-black ebony and the deeply figured maple binding were key factors in its selection.

After purchase, it appears to have been used for display purposes, and there is virtually no sign of use.

The sound quality is indistinguishable from a new instrument, and the joy of breaking in a top-quality instrument is fully preserved.

Upon arrival at our company, a slight upward curve was observed in the neck angle. Therefore, as a precaution, the fretboard from the 14th fret onwards was removed to adjust the angle. This method offers greater effectiveness and stability compared to angle adjustments without removing the fretboard.

While saddle adjustment alone would have sufficed, this was done to ensure the next owner can use it with greater peace of mind.

The finish is very clean; it's almost imperceptible upon close inspection.

This instrument is highly recommended not only for those seeking a beautiful used instrument, but also for those considering a new one.
