Up for sale is a rare, time-capsule quality Digidesign Digi 001 recording system. This is the "Complete in Box" (CIB) experience, perfect for collectors or engineers building a period-accurate Pro Tools rig for Windows XP or Mac OS 9/X.

What makes this bundle special:

Unlike most 001 units found online, this includes the original "Getting Started" guide with the factory Authorization Codes intact. Without these codes, the software is unusable. I have verified that the codes for both Version 5 and Version 6 are present.

Included in the Box:

• Digi 001 Rack Interface: 8-channel I/O with two high-quality Focusrite-designed mic pres.

• Original PCI Host Card: The essential card for your computer's motherboard (standard PCI).

• Proprietary Interface Cable: Connects the rack to the card.

• 4 Original Software Discs: Covering Pro Tools LE 5.1.1 through the final 6.4 release.

• Getting Started Guide: Containing the unique DIGI05 and DIGI06 activation codes.

• Original Retail Box & Packaging.

Technical Compatibility:

• OS: Windows XP (SP1/SP2) or Mac OS 9.2.2 / OS X 10.3.

Condition:

The hardware is in excellent cosmetic condition. The box shows shelf wear consistent with age but is structurally sound. This is a rare opportunity to own a foundational piece of digital recording history in its original packaging.
