Fender Japan ST71-140YM Yellow White
Description
This is a Fender Japan Yngwie Malmsteen signature model.
It combines a classic look with practical playability. The 70s-style large headstock and one-piece maple neck, combined with a scalloped fretboard, makes it easy to produce sound even with a light touch, and provides excellent responsiveness to vibrato and bending.
It features three DiMarzio DP217HS-4 pickups. There are signs of solder repair inside, suggesting the pickups have been replaced.
The pickups, including the middle one, are all the same model, resulting in a clear, articulate sound with minimal noise.
The body appears to be basswood, and it weighs approximately 3.44kg. It's lightweight and easy to handle, and its flat tone allows for flexible sound shaping with amplifiers and effects.
This model achieves a high level of balance between vintage-like looks and modern playability. It's recommended for players who prioritize practicality and sound over originality.
Missing back panel.
Crack at the neck joint. Sun fading and discoloration on the paint.
Stand marks on the body end. Paint reaction around the strap pin.
Otherwise, there are many scratches, dents, and metal rust throughout, showing signs of wear.
The neck is in good playing condition with no noticeable abnormalities.
