For sale is a rare opportunity to own a piece of horological space exploration: the Bell & Ross BR-X1 Hyperstellar. Released as a strictly limited edition of only 250 pieces, this timepiece is a high-tech evolution of the iconic square-cased "Instrument" DNA that Bell & Ross is world-renowned for.

The Concept: A Horological Space Capsule

Designed to evoke the aesthetics of the lunar surface and the Earth as seen from space, the Hyperstellar balances a "Moon Grey" and "Earth Blue" color palette. This isn't just a styling choice—the materials were selected for their aeronautical properties. The modular 45mm case is crafted from Grade 5 Titanium (for extreme lightness and strength) and Electric Blue Anodized Aluminum, protected by a specialized rubber bumper to withstand the rigors of any environment.

Technical Specifications & Features

Movement: Calibre BR-CAL.313 Automatic Mechanical. Features a distinctive "X"-shaped upper bridge and a skeletonized date wheel.

Dial: Grey-tinted sapphire crystal, offering a full view of the intricate skeletonized movement.

The "Rocker" Pushers: Unlike standard round pushers, the Hyperstellar uses ergonomic "rocker" buttons integrated into the case, designed for easy operation even while wearing gloves.

Caseback: Solid Grade 5 Titanium with a "planetary observation porthole"—a tinted sapphire opening centered on the balance wheel.

Strap: A sophisticated bi-material strap combining grey alligator leather with a durable rubber lining for maximum comfort and longevity.

Collector’s Note

The BR-X1 series represents the "Haute Horlogerie" wing of Bell & Ross. The Hyperstellar stands out in this category because of its specific mission-based design and its rarity on the secondary market. With only 250 units worldwide, it is a significant find for any collector of limited production tool watches or space-themed memorabilia.
