The vLocPro2 (VLP2) utility locator receiver was designed to meet the tough requirements of the modern world. With more and more utilities being buried each day and also abandoned each day, it truly is a jungle beneath the ground. The vLocPro2 (VLP2) utility locator receiver has more than seventy active frequencies from 98Hz to 200kHz as well as several passive modes such as broad and narrow band power and VLF radio and SD (signal direction). Once the target line is located use the compass feature to quickly trace the line by following the compass line.

Loc-5STx Broadband 5 Watt Transmitter

The Loc-5STx broadband transmitter has selectable induction frequencies from 8 kHz to 200 kHz and direct-connect frequencies from 256Hz to 200 kHz. SD (Signal Direction), fault find and true resistance measurement up to 1 Mohm are all standard. The two inch by one-inch backlit dot matrix display shows output current, connection type, volts, resistance, frequency, volume, battery condition and high voltage warnings. 

Packaged in a lightweight, rugged, ergonomic IP54 housing, the transmitter provides consistent current output in direct connect, clamp and induction modes. The transmitter has protection against incoming voltages up to 260V. The transmitter comes standard with eight “D” cells batteries and a rechargeable Li-ion battery kit as an option.
