Beautiful vintage 1950s Ellen Kaye lace dress in soft blue color.

Classic fit & flare silhouette with layered lace, satin ribbon trim, pearls and rhinestone accents.

Very elegant formal / prom / recital style typical for mid-1950s dresses.

Era: 1950s (see note found with the dress)

Inside the dress there was a handwritten note that reads:

"Senior Recital – 1955, Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois"

The note will be included with the dress as it appears to be original to the garment and adds wonderful history.

Condition is very good for its age, however there are

two small stains on the front lace (shown in the last photos).

They are not very noticeable because of the lace pattern but must be mentioned.

All necessary measurements are in my images.

Vintage sizes may differ from modern sizes, so please compare measurements with a similar garment.
