The Metropolitan x adidas ZX 8000 Drift Culture is the footwear offering that comes as part of a larger collaborative capsule between adidas Skateboarding and Californian based label
Metropolitan. Both parties are deeply rooted in skate culture, and have turned to the modified car scene of the 1990s for
inspiration here, showcasing vibrant colours and streamlined looks.
The ZX 8000 is dressed primarily in black for a stealthy look, with hints of pink and yellow featured throughout for a vintage-inspired colourway. Three stripe branding is located on both the lateral and medial sides of each shoe, while the label's classic trefoil logo resides neatly at the tongue for a traditional touch of branding.
A classic Torsion sole is located underfoot, offering maximum agility and also impressive amounts of cushioning. The technology has been reinforced for the label's skate-centric sub-brand, which along with the improved ankle padding makes for a safer-than-ever ride.
