A fantastic original WW2 British map which was produced in September 1944 for "OPERATION MARKET GARDEN" (17th - 25th September 1944).

An interesting variation on other versions of 'Third Edition' sheets printed in September 1944 in that it features a red 'overprint layer' highlighting the roads and relief contours (as opposed to black). It also has the scale in the left margin instead of the right.

In excellent 'service used' condition, this really is a great piece of History.
