This is a really nice piece of vintage Ercol furniture that we believe dates to the latter half of the last century, probably the 1980's.

This traditional piece of Ercol furniture is in very good overall condition with hardly any signs of use, although there are some marks present on the top surface of the base unit. (We have tried to capture these in close up photos, although they are quite difficult to both see and capture). We believe that the wood used for this piece is Elm, although the colour description is Fruitwood.

The Base Cabinet consists of a pair of drawers, and a pair of panelled doors that open to reveal a spacious interior. The cabinet doors have a refined twist mechanism that allows each door to be locked closed.

Inside the left hand drawer, there is a removable cutlery tray, with a green baize lining.

The Upper/Wall Cabinet has a pair of glazed doors, and two shelves with integrated lighting.

As with the lower cabinet, the right hand door knob has a twist mechanism to act as a lock, whilst the left hand door as upper and lower metal catches to secure it in place.

Both of the shelves can be height adjusted to three different positions. The lights are an ingenious design, making removal extremely easy. They are connected in to a power socket attached to the top of the cabinet. This then attaches to a longer lead with an integrated switch making connection very straightforward.

Also included are the original instructions, a spare dowel and the original unused cable clips.
