Art Deco Soho Pottery Solian Ware Fruit/Desert Serving Bowl and 6 Desert Bowls.
Soho Pottery Ltd was an English pottery manufacturer operating from Cobridge (and initially Tunstall) between 1904 and 1944. I believe these were manufactured in the early 1930's and so almost antique. I have another listings for this same pottery.
Condition: There are a few tiny marks on the underside, not sure if these are manufacturing faults or damage caused after manufacture. I haven't washed these and so they need a clean.
The history. These belonged to my grandparents and I believe they were purchased in around 1930. My grandma had worked as a house keeper in London for a wealthy family and liked pretty things as a result, however rarely used them as entertaining wasn't really a thing for them. I remember eating Jelly and Ice cream as a child in one of the bowls but this set and another set were kept in a large drawer, they may have been used at Christmas.
