This is a very nice vintage 1800s Masonic Knights Templar
Apron with a unique provenance.
The silver crossed swords and skull and crossbones are in phenomenal condition compared to similar surviving pieces. It is made of luxurious black velvet also in great condition with silver ribbon along the bordering. In the center of the Apron is a very nice, large silver metal skull and cross bones. On the flap are two silver crossed swords of significant weight. If they are solid silver they’re probably at least an ounce each. However they may be silver plated, hard to say without testing.
This apron is in phenomenal condition with the back ties fully intact and in excellent working condition. On the reverse side is the manufacturer, Lamson & Hubbord out of Boston Massachusetts ca. late 1800s. Don't miss this opportunity to get this wonderful piece of historical regalia. They are becoming harder and harder to come by, especially in such wonderful condition.
