Thanks again for supporting small business ! this is a very fine early 18th century tea caddy , circa 1780-1790 George III, octagonal  this has gorgeous satinwood with wonderful  inlaid panels on burl wood , there are four panels which appear to be nearly perfect, this could benefit from some cleaning which I believe is hiding the natural grain of what I think is a burled elm , there is some line inlay or molding missing as you can see, retains its original lock and key and does work , this has a fabric lining which I assume was added later , certainly fantastic 6x4x5
