YAMAHA LS16ARE 2016
The original small body produces Yamaha's traditional L sound. This time, we have the popular acoustic guitar LS16ARE, manufactured in 2016.
The L16 series features solid rosewood back and sides, and a carefully selected Engelmann spruce top. Newly designed bracing and A.R.E (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) treatment produce a rich, warm sound, while maintaining an open resonance and reproducing an excellent tonal balance that blends naturally into a band setting. Furthermore, the newly designed, easy-to-grip neck shape and passive pickup ensure high playability.
Small Body
The top is made of solid Engelmann spruce with A.R.E. treatment.
The back and sides are made of solid rosewood.
New neck shape for superior playability.
Equipped with a 5-ply neck construction.
Passive type pickup (stands out even when playing in a band).
Many people might think that a slightly smaller size would result in a quieter sound, but I was surprised by how loud it actually is. When strumming, you can feel the body vibrating considerably. Some players prefer the small body for its clear tone, and it has a distinctive sparkling sound. Above all, it's compact and cute, offering a different kind of appeal compared to the LL. This LS16 is truly amazing. I highly recommend you try it.

Appearance/Condition: There are minor scratches, tarnishing on parts, and other signs of use throughout. There is a slight gouge on the fretboard at the 1st fret, but it did not significantly affect playability.

String height at 12th fret: 1st string: Approximately 2.0mm, 6th string: Approximately 2.6mm
