Zemaitis has released the DFG242H, a disc front model with an engraved top.
The DFG242H features Zemaitis' original body style, with a body and neck crafted from carefully selected African mahogany and an ebony fingerboard.
It has a 635mm scale length, a set neck joint, and a medium-sized 24-fret design.
The body top features an aluminum alloy disc plate with an engraving of the name Buccaneer Island (Pirate Island) designed by master engraver Danny O'Brien, and the traditional inscription "A.C.ZEMAITISSINCE1955," giving it a classic look.
It features Zemaitis' original aluminum alloy bridge and tailpiece, contributing to the distinctive Zemaitis tone.
The arrowhead brand emblem on the headstock, truss rod cover, tailpiece, switch plate, output jack plate, and control and switchback plates are all similarly engraved with aluminum alloy. The pickups are two metal-covered Zemaitis custom PAF-style humbuckers, and the controls use the acclaimed CTS potentiometers, with individual pickup volume and a master tone control.
It also features a CRL 3-way pickup selector switch and Orange Drop tone capacitors.
Furthermore, reliable Gotoh locking tuners ensure tuning stability.
The finish is black lacquer.
