This model boasts a vintage-bizarre look and was developed to achieve a sound character similar to a hollowbody guitar, despite its solid body.
The body is made of spruce-like hemlock, and the mahogany neck is joined with a set-neck construction and a rosewood fingerboard.
16-fret joint, 20-fret design, medium scale length.
The nut width is approximately 42.5mm. Like other KINGSNAKE models, the neck shape is a slightly thick U-shape with a comfortable grip. The original W-cutaway body design also contributes to smooth fingering, even in the upper registers.
The pickups are two original Soulville Foil pickups, featuring a single-coil construction with a Vulcan fiber bobbin and steel pole pieces.
Though it's a single pickup, its unique design creates humbucker-like attack and airiness.
The volume control allows for a more single-coil-like sound, while the tone control allows for a mellow, jazzy sound.
The finish is an ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. It delivers a rich, full-bodied sound without drown-in the natural tone.
Regarding condition, there is a scratch on the headstock, but otherwise there is no noticeable wear or damage, and it remains in excellent condition.
With no issues with the frets, truss rod, or electrical system, this is a recommended pre-owned instrument ready for immediate use.
