Martin 000E Retro Plus Mahogany 2024 Used, Excellent Condition

Description

Pre-owned 000ERetroPlusMahogany, manufactured in 2024
There are some light scuffs, but no noticeable scratches, and the guitar retains its beautiful appearance.
The neck is in excellent condition, remaining nearly straight, and the truss rod has ample space on both sides.
There's almost no wear from fret friction, with over 90% remaining space.
The saddles have ample space (2.5-3.5mm), and the guitar is tuned for light-gauge strings. The action is low, approximately 1.8mm on the 6th string side and 2.3mm on the 1st string side, making it very playable.
This guitar is in like-new condition with no repairs or part replacements.
An original Martin gig bag is included.

The core of the guitar's sound is its torrefied solid spruce top.
Heat-treated to achieve a tone that typically develops over decades.
This process improves resonance and openness, giving the guitar a vintage character from the first stroke.
Inheriting the design and materials of the Style 18, this guitar's compact 000 body, combined with mahogany back and sides, delivers both spaciousness and depth, making it a versatile tool for fingerstyle, strumming, and everything in between.

The Performing Artist neck profile and high-performance taper provide natural playability.
It offers a slim, fast playing feel without sacrificing comfort.
The short 24.9-inch scale length makes chord work and complex runs easy, while the ebony fingerboard and bridge provide smooth playability and rich tone.

Equipped with Martin E-1 pickups, it can be used as an acoustic-electric guitar for live performances, recording, and streaming with just the right cable and amplifier.

In addition to volume and tone adjustments, it also features a backlit tuner located inside the soundhole.

This is a highly balanced model, so be sure to consider it.

Martin
Martin is one of the world's most beloved guitar brands.
Its history is incredibly long, dating back to 1833, when the first Martin immigrated to America.
It's amazing to think that the classical guitar only took its current form in the late 19th century.

Born in Germany, the first Martin apprenticed at age 15 to luthiers maker Stauffer, famous for making guitars for Schubert. By the time he was 30, he had mastered the craft and become workshop manager.
However, Germany at the time had a very strict guild system, and guitar makers were generally neglected, so on September 9, 1833, he set off for New York in search of new horizons.

The late 19th century ushered in America's Golden Age, and music culture blossomed.
In pop music of the time, such as bluegrass and country, the acoustic guitar successfully pushed aside other instruments like the banjo to become a popular instrument.
This spectacular episode was only the beginning of a long history that followed, and Martin has become an indispensable giant in the history of music ever since.
It is impossible to list the countless musicians who have performed with Martin guitars.
While Martin guitars remain an essential part of contemporary music, their tone resonates undoubtedly in the music that lingers in our memories, transcending genre boundaries.
That is why this guitar is so irreplaceable.
