Yairi Guitars continues to be handcrafted in its Gifu Prefecture workshop. Based on the concept of creating guitars beloved by generations, timeless designs, and a tone that deepens with use, the company currently produces approximately 20 guitars per day with a team of approximately 30 people. The brand has garnered strong support from both well-known international artists and professional Japanese artists. This instrument is Yairi's classic dreadnought, the YW-1000HQ, with rosewood back and sides. This used instrument was manufactured in 2024. The "HQ" in the model name refers to the guitar's "High Quality Processing," a designation standard for Yairi's top-of-the-line guitars, demonstrating the guitar's meticulous, high-quality processing at every stage. Featuring a spruce top, Jacaranda sides and three-piece back, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, Gotoh Gold Rotomatic tuning machines, abalone hexagonal fingerboard inlays, abalone rosette and body trim, and a tortoiseshell pickguard. This kingly model, with its lavish decoration and imposing vertical logo on the headstock, is a symbol of Yairi's legacy. This versatile model combines power and delicacy. The three-piece guitar offers a clear, well-defined tone, while the Jacaranda wood produces a rich, brilliant tone that rivals its gorgeous appearance. The slender V-shaped neck with a 42mm nut width is a welcome addition for those who struggle to adapt to today's wide necks. There are signs of a pickup installation, and the body end has been widened, but a conversion pin of the same diameter has now been installed. There are no noticeable scratches, and the neck and body are in excellent playing condition. This is a highly popular, best-selling Yairi model. It comes with an original hard case.
