YAMAHA LL36 ARE
Description
YAMAHALL 36ARE
High-End Model in the L Series
The L Series is renowned worldwide as Yamaha's pinnacle acoustic guitar.
This LL36 is a Japanese-made, HANDCRAFTED series guitar, highly sought after for its all-lacquer finish and luxurious abalone inlays. This model clearly expresses the concept of "luxury."
Luxurious looks and excellent playability
The body is made of solid Englemann spruce (A.R.E.) top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides.
The neck is made of 5-ply mahogany and rosewood, and the fingerboard is made of ebony with 22 frets, a 400mm radius, and a 648mm scale length.
Stable grip and smooth playability from high to low positions.
The lacquer finish is carefully applied in multiple layers by skilled technicians.
This finish makes the most of the wood's vibration-transmitting properties, resulting in quick sound attack and rich resonance.
All models also feature a double-action truss rod that works in both forward and backward bow directions, allowing for more precise neck adjustment.
Handcrafted inlays and neck binding add to the luxurious look.
A well-balanced, mature, warm sound
A.R.E. [Acoustic Resonance Enhancement] is a wood modification technology independently researched and developed by Yamaha.
Applying this technology to guitar body materials creates a rich tone, as if the guitar has been played for many years.
By precisely controlling temperature, humidity, and air pressure without using any chemicals,
it produces changes in a short period of time similar to the changes that occur over time in wood after it has been sawn, improving sound transmission and vibration efficiency,
promoting the extension of mid- and low-frequency components and increasing the attack and decay speed of high-frequency components.
This results in a well-balanced, mature, warm sound with few harsh overtones.
Product condition
The neck is in almost straight condition.
There are wipe marks and scuffs on the bottom of the back of the body. Operation and sound are fine.
The strings are adjusted to .012-.052 gauge.
There is enough room in the rod to adjust the neck in both the tightening and loosening directions.
The neck is adjusted to a nearly flat position.
The string height at the 12th fret is approximately 2.5mm for the 6th string and 2.0mm for the 1st string.
Accessories include the original hard case, product, instruction manual, adjustment wrench, and case key.
Please check the photos for the exterior condition.
For electric guitar strings, you can specify a gauge of .009-.042 or .010-.046, but we do not accept brand or special gauge requests.
For acoustic guitar strings, the gauge varies depending on stock availability, and the gauge may change from the gauge listed at the time of shipment. We do not accept brand or special gauge requests.
For bass strings, we do not accept specific gauge or brand requests.
The string height is set close to the standard value. Depending on the condition of the nut groove and neck, we may not be able to accommodate a lower string height than stated.
Active and electric acoustic models are shipped with batteries. The batteries are used for testing purposes only, so we recommend replacing them with new ones before use.
We will accept returns within 10 days of purchase for initial malfunctions such as no sound. We will repair any malfunctions of consumable parts within 3 months of purchase free of charge, excluding defects listed as "junk." Parts and components are the customer's responsibility, so please contact us in advance.
