This razor features classic black scales and comes with its orginal coffin box, a wonderful survivor from the Victorian era. The blade shows some age - appropriate patina and wear consistent with its history. The razor has not been cleaned, polised, or honed and is being sold as found. 

Black scales are likely hard rubber (ebonite), consistent with period examples. 

Original coffin box has wear consistent with use and age. 

This piece would make an excellent addition to a straight razor collection, a restoration project, or a display item for those who appreciate traditional wet shaving tools and Sheffield steel - noted on blade as the Best Silver Steel.
