LEAF ANATOMY

Printed in 1969.

This wonderfully illustrated chart was produced in Paris, France in 1969.

Dr Louis Auzoux (1797-1880) was noted for creating highly detailed papier-mache anatomical, botanical and zoological models for use in education. These charts were produced by Dr Auzoux's company from the 1940's to the 1960's illustrated by Paul Sougy their wonderfully bold simple lines have made them highly sought after decorative pieces in the last few years. 

Originally produced as a teaching aids for school, colleges and universities for the last 100 years or so.

 These charts have recently become available for sale due to the rise in the use of white boards.

• CONDITION

Printed on thick paper and backed with canvas, there is a black wooden half dowel at the top and a full dowel at the bottom.

Please be aware this chart is not new so do check all photos before purchase. 

There is wear consistent with age some light wrinkling near the bottom and very slight wear on the edge, but the overall condition is very good
