This 8-string baritone model in the E-II series is specialized for extended range. Its long 27-inch scale delivers a tight sound that maintains definition even in drop tunings and bass-heavy riffs.
The body is made of alder, the neck is a three-piece hard maple neck-through construction, and the fingerboard is made of ebony. The Thin U shape and 24XJ frets ensure smooth fingering and excellent playability even with a wide 8-string.
The pickups are SeymourDuncan Blackouts 8-string. They deliver deep bass and crisp highs while suppressing noise even in high-gain environments. From technical riffs to heavy breakdowns, they deliver the full range required for modern metal.
The Hipshot bridge and Gotoh locking tuners provide stable tuning and excellent sustain. The bold black finish adds a touch of stage presence.
