Vintage German Solingen Cowhide Leather Sheath & AS Italy Letter Opener

Vintage German Solingen cowhide leather sheath and an AS Italy letter opener. The sheath is labeled "The Bethlehem Corporation". Probably an advertising promotion or a gift given to employees. The leather sheath was made in Germany by Solingen and the letter opener in Italy by AS. I suspect the opener was made using stainless steel, but it is not marked. There are some scuffs on the opener. Attractive vintage piece. Please see all photos and use the zoom feature for details.
