Powering the Islander Greenport is the Made in Japan Miyota 8205 movement. The 8205 is an automatic movement that handwinds and hacks, and has a power reserve of 40 hours. As it is a vertical day configuration, there is only one language on the day wheel (English). The 39mm case is just 13mm thick (13.5mm including the dome of the sapphire crystal) and a very cozy 47mm lug to lug. A screwdown crown ensures a full 200 meters of water resistance.

Instead of a traditional dive timer bezel, we have included a bi-directional dual time bezel, which is a great way to track a second time zone. The insert is ceramic, so it resists scratching. Telling the time is a snap with syringe style hands with accented color tips.

The bracelet is a 20mm lug width, that tapers to 18mm at the 4 position micro-adjust clasp. The bracelet is solid link, and solid endlink, and is easily sized with an included screwdriver. The H-links are brushed on the tops and side, with a note of high-polish on the top and bottom edges of the center links. This provides a bit of visual ‘pop’ as your wrist moves.
