This is the Yamaha 700 Series BB735A, a bolt-on 5-string bass in the vein of the legendary BB.
It features a 3-ply alder/maple/alder body, a 5-piece maple/mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard, 18mm string spacing, YGD V7 P/J (Alnico V) pickups in a PJ layout, and Vol/Bal/3-band EQ/active/passive switching.
This 5-string model boasts the distinctive, bold tone of the classic BB series and high playability. The through-the-back bridge, miter bolted joint, and 3-band QE allow for a wide range of sound creation, making it a valuable addition to home recording.
Some signs of use are visible, including string marks under the bridge, scuffs, pick marks, and cosmetic damage such as tarnish and nicks on metal parts and screws.
Upon arrival, the guitar was set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment), the fret height is at a comfortable playing height, and the truss rod has been checked to 60° left and right and is in good condition.
