This is a 4 inch pot or vase in an early American style, salt glazed.  To me, written impressed signature looks like "Jamestown Pottery 85."  There is natural crazing, see photos.  There are no cracks or chips.  It is a fine example of reproduced early American utilitarian ware with a cobalt blue decoration and stripe.
The top is 4 inches across and the bottom is 4.25 inches across.
