I am no expert on these. This little guy appears to be dressed like the Juro Novelty Co's 24" Jerry Mahoney's made in the 1950's, so one could assume he is a Jerry Mahoney clone made by another company? Just like the Charlie McCarthy 'look-a-likes' made by other companies during the Charlie McCarthy craze of the 1930's, this dummy/doll was probably made by another company to be a Jerry Mahoney 'look-a-like' to cash in on the popularity of Paul Winchell back in the early 1950's.

I can find very little information on these older style 20" dummies but in the past we sold similar size dummies, with the stub feet, and similar listings stated they were from the1930's-50's so I am assuming (but do not guarantee) this to be from the same era. If I am wrong, feel free to write.
These older dummies did not have feet. They just came with sewn stubs instead of feet but this one includes the original slide on boots (SEE PHOTOS) - Boots show wear from age, handling, use and storage
Body, arms and legs appear to be cloth fiber filled.
Head/face show the usual wear from age, use, handling and storage, especially with the composition materials used in dollmaking at that time
I am selling these ventriloquist dummies for the family of the owner who passed on suddenly. Proceeds will help them pay their expenses. I did not buy them new. I do not know the history of them. If there are any dates, I can only offer that information. I cannot and do not guarantee completeness, originality. All items sold AS-IS as I am not the original owner.
