The Old Hickory Bat Co. Crown Series Maple Wood Baseball Bat: JBOH1G features an approximate -3 length to weight ratio and 2 1/2 inch barrel diameter. The Crown Series is turned out of maple wood, the hardest and most popular of the MLB approved wood types. These exclusive Crown models were turned from pro grade maple billets, but minor details in the finished bat didn't meet the pro's standards. Crown models will be structurally sound, but a slight cosmetic or specification variance will exist, resulting in a great value for players and parents!

Pros: Extremely balanced, with great feel. The knob is unique and adds to the comfort and control of the handle. I believe the result is an increase in bat speed.
Cons: The sweet spot is a little higher, or closer to the end of the bat which takes a little getting used to.

Pros: The bat feels very balanced and easy to control, the handle is a good width that allows for free wrist mobility, the ball carries well when it is squared up, has lasted me over 30 AB's to this point without breaking. Great bat for the value.
Cons: As I used this bat a small fracture developed in the handle, however this does not seem to diminish this bat's performance in games.
