GUILD D-35 Vintage 1978 Acoustic Guitar D35

Description

The Guild D-35 boasts a powerful tone.

This guitar was born in 1968 as the Bluegrass D-35.
It features a 15-3/4" (approximately 40cm) wide body, a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and non-scalloped X-bracing.
The 25.5" long-scale mahogany neck with a nut width of just under 43mm features a rosewood fingerboard.
A passive piezo pickup has been retrofitted, with jack ends.
The nut, frets, bridge pins, GOTOH tuning machines, saddle, and truss rod cover have all been replaced.
There are traces of over-lacquer on the back of the headstock.

This guitar has been serviced at a renowned guitar workshop!
The neck angle has been adjusted with ironing and shims, and the frets have been filed. The saddle has been replaced with bone, the back brace has been glued, and the truss rod cover has been fabricated and replaced.
There's still plenty of room in the truss rod, and the frets are slightly lower due to wear, but still have ample height.

The guitar shows signs of use overall, with numerous dents, scuffs, scratches, and buckle marks.
The body top also shows signs of weather checking. There's a 3cm paint crack below the center seam.
There are traces of part replacement, repairs, paint peeling, and paint changes, but playability is excellent!

The sound is loud, powerful, and resonates directly.
Each note is well-defined, with a core to it!

B: Significant scratches and signs of use, but no problems for normal use.
