Vintage RARE Fine Porcelain Figurine made in Germany of Charles Dickens' THE PICKWICK PAPERS Character "Sam Weller". 

Miniature figurine measures approximately 3.5"H x 1.5"W x 1"D and is in Excellent Pre-owned condition with NO damage. 

His colors are still so nice and complete for his advanced age! 

Figurine is stamped Germant in black. 

These hand painted porcelain figurines were made in Germany, exported to the US and England, as I understand, 

prior to 1923. 

Most of these figurines are not marked with "Ludwigsburg" but are likely from there.

Since it is not  marked "Foreign" which were exported from 1893 to 1923, this MAY be pre 1893. 

Comes from a smoke-free home.
