Paul Reed Smith PRS DGT Semi-Hollow Pilot Run Faded Whale Blue 2024
Description
We have now received the pilot run of the DGT Semi-Hollow Limited Edition, which was released in 2024 with a limited production run of 200 units worldwide.
Compared to the limited edition model, this one does not have the benefits of a limited edition model, such as the body top wood being 10Top grade instead of Artist Grade, the tremolo bridge being GenIII instead of GenII, the standard hard case, the headstock logo without Paul Reed Smith's handsign, and the back plate without David Grissom's handsign. However, with its dense grain that is hard to believe is 10Top grade and the Faded Whale Blue color, which is not DGT's standard color, it exudes an atmosphere that is a little different from the regular DGT models.
The semi-hollow design adds warmth to the high range and a slightly cleaner sound in the low range compared to previous solid types, making it a model that combines a different appeal from previous DGTs and can be used in a wide range of situations. While retaining the core specifications of the PRSDGT, such as the neck shape, pickups, and two-volume control layout, the semi-hollow construction produces a richer body resonance and a more dynamic sound. Includes hard case, arm, and original tag.
