Here we have a most attractive striking mantle clock in a Light wood With no splits or woodworm
As you can see a very nice looking clock with stringing to the front has a Brass outer rim with Good crack free glass. ( At the side of the clock left side looking) you will notice a brass button and when pushed it releases the front glass rim to enable you to adjust the hands . a nice rear meshed door and when opened has a red back to the mesh and a note stating October 1934 Also has a brass turnbuckle door lock.and finally brass bunn feet .
The mechanicle side is working fine being all brass with a lovely tick-tock sound . You will also notice that the clock has two gongs which is quite a rare item the gonging works but needs fine adjustment to get the right tone note. ( easy job for those in the Know).
Would suit someone who likes style and something a little different .. Comes with a Key.
Having a Major clearout of all dads clocks of over 65 years collecting.
